On Android 11 Samsung will prevent apps work in background by default unless you exclude apps from battery optimizations. This is a severe divergence from standard Android process management policies. To keep your apps working properly make sure you enable:
- Settings > Apps > TimelyBills > Turn off Remove permissions if app is unused
- Settings > Apps > TimelyBills > Battery > Battery optimization > All apps > TimelyBills > Don’t optimize
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More Battery settings > Turn off Adaptive Battery
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More Battery settings > Turn off Protect battery
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits> Turn off Put unused apps to sleep
- Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More Battery settings > Turn off Protect battery
- Settings > Battery and device care > (⁝) menu > Automation > Turn off Auto optimise daily
- Settings > Battery and device care > (⁝) menu > Automation > Turn off Auto restart at set times
