How to add recurring bills reminder?

Automatically tracking recurring bills is a smart way to stay organized and avoid missed payments. Setting up recurring reminders ensures you never miss regular payments helping you avoid late fees, stay consistent and build stronger financial habits over time.


Steps to create a single bill reminder:


1. Launch the TimelyBills app on your device 

2. Tap the + (Plus) buttonYou’ll find this in the bottom-right corner of the Home screen

3. Select Add Bill: Choose the option to add a new bill

4. Enter your bill details like: 

- Category (e.g., Utilities, Rent)

- Title (e.g., Electricity Bill)

- Notes (optional)


5. Schedule your Due date

- Tap on Schedule and select the Due Date

- Make sure the Repeat this bill toggle is turned on

- Select a Recurrence pattern (e.g. Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly)

- Use the Custom option if you need a more personalized recurrence schedule


6. Choose when you'd like to get the reminder by clicking on Reminder and select Days before Reminder (e.g., 1 or 2 days before the due date)

7. Tap the checkmark (✓) in the top-right corner to save your bill reminder

8. View your Bill: You may now redirect to the Bills tab, where you can see the recurring bill reminder created just now by you.


Recurring bill reminders are meant to be created only once by the user and then it automatically keeps on repeating in the future.
