A one-time budget is perfect for tracking spending on specific events or short-term goals, like a vacation, wedding, or home project. It’s available for both Personal and Group use (Group budgets require a Pro Family Plan).
Steps to create a one-time budget:
1. Open the Budget Section
From the Dashboard, tap on Budget, then tap the ‘+’ icon in the top right.
2. Select Budget Type
Choose either a Personal or a Group budget.
3. Choose Budget Nature
Select whether the budget is for Expense or Income.

4. Set Budget Frequency
Choose “One Time” as the repeat frequency.
Then, select the Start & End Date for your one-time budget duration.
5. Fill in Budget Details
Provide the following:
Budget Name
Optional Icon/Image
Amount
Category (or leave blank to apply to all categories)
Account (or leave blank to apply across all accounts)
Spending Alert% % (optional – get alerts when spending reaches your set threshold)
6. Review and Finalize

Once created, TimelyBills will track expenses during the selected period and notify you if you approach or exceed your budget limit. |
