How can I do budgeting for specific account?

Modified on Wed, 7 May at 8:31 PM

TimelyBills allows you to create budgets that track spending from specific accounts—whether it's a bank account, credit card, wallet, or cash. If no account is selected, the budget will track transactions across all accounts by default.

Steps to set up a budget for a specific account:

1. Open the Budget Section
From the Dashboard, tap Budget to view or create a new budget.

2. Create or Edit a Budget
Tap the ‘+’ icon to create a new budget or select an existing one for edit.

3. Select Account(s)
Under the “Select Account” option, choose one or more accounts you want this budget to apply to.

Only transactions from these selected accounts will be considered in this budget's progress.

4. Review & Save
Verify your budget settings—name, amount, category, alert thresholds, etc. and tap Create Budget to activate.
