How do I delete my TimelyBills account?

You can permanently delete your TimelyBills account directly from the app by following these steps:

  1. Open the TimelyBills app on your device
  2. Tap your Profile photo.
  3. Select My Profile.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account (located below the Sign Out button).
  5. If you're a member of a Group, you'll need to leave the group first before you can proceed with deleting your account.
  6. A screen will appear explaining what data will be permanently deleted. Please review this information carefully.
  7. Tap Delete again to confirm and proceed.
  8. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered email address.
  9. Enter the OTP and tap Verify to confirm your identity.
  10. Once the OTP is verified, your account deletion request will be submitted.
  11. After you submit your deletion request, you’ll receive a confirmation email confirming that your account and its associated data will be permanently deleted in 5 days.


What data will be permanently deleted after the 5-day deletion period?

The following information will be permanently removed once your scheduled account deletion is completed:

  • All accounts and transactions
  • All budgets and financial records
  • Your profile and personal information
  • Any other data associated with your TimelyBills account


Account deletion is permanent. Once the 5-day waiting period has ended, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.


  1. For group members: You must leave all groups before you can delete your account.
  2. OTP verification: An OTP sent to your registered email address is required to complete the account deletion request.
  3. 5-day waiting period: Your account will remain in a pending deletion state for 5 days. During this period, you will not be able to sign in.
  4. Canceling your request: If you change your mind, contact us at support@timelybills.app before the 5-day period ends to cancel your deletion request.
  5. For users in the US and Canada: If you have connected bank accounts or financial institutions, we recommend disconnecting them before requesting account deletion.
  6. For Apple App Store subscribers: Deleting your TimelyBills account does not automatically cancel your subscription.
  7. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account after submitting the deletion request.
