In TimelyBills, Bill Reminders represent your upcoming payments, helping you stay informed about bills that are due and avoid missing payments.
Here are some ways to manage them more effectively.
1. Add all your upcoming bills on the app
Create bill reminders for recurring payments such as Rent, Utility bills, Credit card bills, Loan EMIs, Insurance premiums, Subscription services
2. While creating or editing a bill reminder, you can choose when you'd like to be notified.
- Tap Remind in [X] days.
- Select the number of days before the due date when you want to receive a reminder.
- For example, set a reminder 1 or 2 days before the due date to ensure you have enough time to make the payment.
3. Mark bills as paid early
Once a payment has been made, mark the bill reminder as paid. This helps to track completed payments, keep your upcoming payments list up to date and prevent confusion between paid and unpaid bills.
4. Use filters to quickly find and organize your bill reminders.
- You can filter bills by Monthly, Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Custom date range
- You can also sort bills by Latest Due Date, Earliest Due Date, Bill Title (A-Z) and Bill Amount (Low to High)
5. Make it a habit to check the bills section frequently to review upcoming payments it helps to prepare for due dates, plan your cash outflow and avoid late payment charges.
6. Review your monthly reports and insights to understand:
