How can I add an account ?

Adding accounts on our app helps to keep finances in one place, whether it's a checking account, credit card, investment, loan, cash, wallet or asset

Steps to add an account in TimelyBills

Open the TimelyBills app on your device
Navigate from the Home screen to the Accounts screen.
Tap the + (Plus) button in the top-right corner.
Select the account Type:
- Cash
- Credit Card
- Investment
- Loan
- Asset
Enter the required Account Details:
- Bank/financial institution name
- Account Name
- Account Number (last 4 digits recommended for security)
- Current/Starting Balance
- Include in Net Worth toggle
- Joint Account toggle (if applicable)
Tap Create to save the account.
You will be redirected to the Accounts List screen where the Newly Created account will appear.
Tap the account on list screen to view its Complete details like balance, last 4 account number digits and account actions.

Helpful Tips

Include in Net Worth: When enabled, the account's balance is included in your overall net worth calculation. Your net worth is displayed:
- On the top of the Accounts List screen
- On the Net Worth Card on the Dashboard
Account Management Options are accessible on account detail screen:
- Edit account details
- Hide account from lists
- Enable or disable Net Worth inclusion
- Manage Joint Account settings
Access the Download Statement option directly from the Account Detail screen to review or export account activity.
For Security and easier identification, we recommend using only the Last 4 digits of your account number when creating an account.
