Can I edit starting balance of an account ?

Yes, in TimelyBills, you can edit the starting balance of an account. This functionality allows you to adjust the initial amount you set when creating the account. Changes made will reflect in the current balance, from which subsequent transaction balances will be calculated. 


To edit the starting balance, follow these steps: 


  • Go to the dashboard and navigate to 'Accounts'.


         


  • Select the account from the list whose starting balance you want to change.


         


  • On the account detail screen, you have two options to edit:


            a) Click on the edit button (pen icon) next to the current balance.


b) Alternatively, access account settings:


  • Click on the three dots at the top right corner.


  • Choose 'Edit Account'.


 


  • Enter the desired amount in the 'Balance' or 'Current Outstanding' field.



  • Click 'Update' to save the changes.
