How do I permanently remove a bank/institution connection from TimelyBills?

You can easily remove a bank connection from TimelyBills by following these steps:


  1. Open the Accounts screen in the app.

  2. Tap on Connected Institutions link at the top.


  3. Select the bank connection you want to remove/delete.

  4. Tap the trash/delete icon in the top-right corner.


  5. Choose one of the following options:

    • Convert all accounts to Manual – This keeps your existing accounts and transactions, but they’ll no longer receive automatic updates.

    • Delete Financial Institution – This permanently deletes the institution, its linked accounts, and all associated transactions..


After completing the steps, the connection will be removed within a few seconds (usually 5–10 seconds) after data sync.
