How do I connect my bank or financial institution in TimelyBills?

TimelyBills has partnered with Plaid, a trusted financial technology provider, to allow users in the United States and Canada to securely link their bank accounts and manage them directly within the app.

Follow these steps to connect your bank or institution:

  1. Go to the "Accounts" section and tap the "+" icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Ensure you have an active Bank Sync Plan, as this is required to link your bank or financial institution.

  3. You’ll be redirected to Plaid, our secure bank-linking partner.

  4. Sign in using your mobile number or tap "Continue as guest" if login credentials are not available.

  5. Select your bank or financial institution from the list provided.

  6. Plaid will redirect you to your bank’s official login page.

  7. Securely log in using your bank/institution credentials and authorize access.

  8. Once your accounts are linked, Plaid will confirm the connection and redirect you back to TimelyBills with a success message.

  9. Go to "Connected Institutions" on the Accounts screen to review your linked bank or institution.
