How can I temporarily stop or resume syncing my online bank account?

TimelyBills allows you to temporarily stop syncing a connected bank account without deleting it. When syncing is stopped, the account will remain visible in your account list, but its balance and transactions will no longer update.


To stop syncing an account:

  1. Open the Accounts screen in the app.

  2. Tap on account you want to stop syncing.

  3. Tap the three-dot menu (top right corner) to open options.

  4. Select Stop Syncing from the options.


  5. Confirm your choice when the pop-up appears.


  6. You’ll now see a “Stop Syncing” icon on that account, indicating it is no longer updating.

  7. To resume syncing:
    Follow the same steps above and choose “Start Syncing Account” instead.
