What different types of budgets are supported in TimelyBills?

Types of budget one can create in TimelyBills and steps to do so:


1. Monthly Budget (only for expense categories) : This Budget is for expenses incurred on month on month. It counts all your expense across all of your categories to show and alert for the budget limits. There is also a possibility to rollover the monthly budget amount from current month to next month

2.  Category level Budget for Expense related categories (Month on Month) :  This Budget is for expenses incurred on a particular category on month on month. It counts all your expense for the given category (and its sub category if any) to show and alert for the budget limits. There is also a possibility to rollover the category level monthly budget amount from current month to next month.


3. Category level Budget for Income category (Month on Month) : This Budget is for income planning, on a particular income stream (rent, salary, interest etc.) on month on month. It counts all your income transaction for the specified income category to show and alert for the budget limits. There is also a possibility to rollover the category level monthly budget amount from current month to next month.

4. Weekly Budget (only for expense categories):  This Budget is for expenses incurred on weekly/bi-weekly basis. It counts all your expense across all of your categories to show and alert for the budget limits for weekly or bi-weekly basis.
