Budget Alerts & Notifications supported in TimelyBills

TimelyBills provides intelligent budget alerts and notifications to help you stay on top of your finances. These notifications are available for both Personal and Group/Family budgets. For group budgets, relevant alerts are automatically shared with all group members.

Types of Alerts & Notifications:

1. Spending Notification
   Triggered when your spending crosses the custom threshold percentage set during budget creation.
   Example: If you’ve set a 75% alert, you’ll be notified when your expenses reach 75% of the budget.
   (Refer to the screenshot for reference.)

2. Overspending Notification
   Automatically triggered when your spending exceeds 100% of the budget. This alert helps you take immediate action to control overspending.
   
   

3. Group / Family Budget Notifications

   • When a group budget is shared or unshared, all members receive an alert.

   • If a shared group budget crosses the spending threshold or goes over 100%, notifications are sent to all participating group members.
