What is Group Mode and Personal Mode in a group?

Modified on Thu, 5 Mar at 2:10 PM

TimelyBills offers three distinct modes for managing your finances as part of Pro Family subscription. This flexibility allows each member to independently manage their finances while still being able to view and contribute to shared data thereby enhancing both individual and collaborative financial management.

Steps Switch between modes:

  1. Open the TimelyBills app
  2. Tap on the Profile icon (top-left corner)
  3. At the top, you’ll see Profile options like You, Group, and Member
  4. Tap “You” to switch to your personal account

Once selected, the app will exit Group Mode and show only your personal data.

You can switch back anytime if you want to manage shared transactions again. This helps you clearly track your own daily spending as well as Group finances

Group Mode VS You Mode VS Member mode
  • Group mode lets you can access and manage both your personal financial data and group financial data. It provides a comprehensive view of the Group's financial activities, facilitating easy collaboration and shared management.
  • You mode allows you to focus solely on your individual financial data. You can enjoy a streamlined experience by managing only your personal information without any distractions.
  • Member mode allows you to view your other Group members shared data only. It gives a segregated view about a single Group user. Member mode takes the name of the member below the profile section as shown in the above image attachment
