Getting your transaction data on TimelyBills app is very simple and straightforward. You may use the Import transactions feature available on our public website.
Steps to import transactions in bulk:
Step 1: Access the Import Section
- Open the Timelybills website (Website Link: www.timelybills.app)
- Go to Sign in and sign in with the email currently being used on TimelyBills app
- Select Import Transactions from the menu on the left
Step 2: Download the Template
- Tap on Download Template
- The template will be downloaded to your computer.
The feature currently supports only English. Trying to download apart from English language may give errors.
Step 3: Open the Template
- Open the downloaded template in a spreadsheet editor (E.g. Excel, Google Sheets)
- Follow the detailed instructions provided in the first sheet of the Template.
We recommend our users to Double-check all transactions entries to prevent errors
Step 4: Upload the Template
- Visit again Import Transactions from the menu
- Attach your edited template under "Select Template File to Import"
- Ensure the following points before upload to prevent error:
The template file size is under 3MB.
There are 100 accounts or fewer in the template file.
The total transactions count added in the template don't exceed 3,000.
4. Tap UPLOAD to submit your file for import.
Step 5: Confirmation
- When the import is successful import a confirmation email will be received
- It may take 5-10 minutes for the imported transactions to appear in the app.
- After 5-10 minutes open the TimelyBills app again and check for newly added transactions.
- If the newly added transactions are not visible then go to Profile and tap "Sync Now" for data refresh.

You can use the import feature up to three times. If additional imports are required, please contact our support team at support@timelybills.app.
