Can I create future-dated expenses in TimelyBills?

Yes. TimelyBills lets you create a one-time expense for a future date to plan upcoming payments.


Steps to create a future-dated expense:

1. Launch the TimelyBills app on your device

2. Tap Plus (+) icon button on home screen to Add Expense

3. While adding Date and Time of transaction choose a Future date and time

4. Enter other details like Amount, Account, Tags, Category and Notes

5. Tap the checkmark (✓) icon on the top-right corner to save transaction 

6. You will be redirected to Transaction List Screen 

7. Go to the Upcoming tab on the Transactions screen to view your Scheduled Expense



Helpful Tips

  • The future dated expenses will be shown with a Label showing in How Many Days the transaction will update amount of the attached account 
  • Currently app only support creating Single (no recurring) expenses. Recurring expense can be added by creating a recurring bill reminder.
